UPCOMING LOCAL EVENTS

PGC's Connection to GCA in the City
GCA in the City is a Garden Club of America initiative that brings the GCA spirit to metro-area young professional non-members of GCA through educational and social evening/weekend programs. A Nashville event was held at the Green Door Gourmet, a 350-acre organic farm whose produce serves several Nashville restaurants. Under the guidance of owner and farmer Sylvia Ganier, participants learned principles for cooking with herbs, enjoyed herbaceous cocktails, and planted their own pots of herbs to take home. Meg Hancock Klein (Sid's daughter) recently participated. Meg is pictured in the light blue striped chambray blouse. Some members might have relatives in metro-areas
who would enjoy participating in GCA in the City events!
